Job Description

The Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) informs physician of patient's condition during anesthesia. Prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Being a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) requires a master's degree in nursing, and certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records. In addition, Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) typically reports to a manager.
