Detects and treats heart and blood vessel disease in infants, children, and teenagers. Being a Pediatric Cardiologist requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice. Detects abnormalities, plans treatment, and refers critical patients to a cardiac surgeon. In addition, Pediatric Cardiologist may report to a medical director.
