Being a Physician - Pain Management provides relief from acute or chronic pain through the use of medications, nerve blocks, electrical stimulation, or other therapies. Recommends tests to determine extent of pain, help diagnose condition, or manage pain. In addition, Physician - Pain Management requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice. May report to a medical director.
