The Production Coordinator I monitors and analyzes shift production metrics to identify issues, troubleshoot, develop and implement solutions and process improvements. Provides support for managing production operations to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved. Being a Production Coordinator I performs audits and inspections to ensure that SOP's GMP's and OSHA regulations are understood and followed. Coordinates materials and resources for daily operations and maintenance, turnaround, and downtime projects. In addition, Production Coordinator I liaises with product, engineering, and other functional teams. May coordinate or manage production, staffing, and training schedules. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Production Coordinator I work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
