The Project Architect, Master is responsible for final specifications, approval of ordered materials, and overall guidance on objectives and concepts. With a broad knowledge of architectural principles and procedures, independently oversees and plans all architectural aspects of construction projects. Being a Project Architect, Master requires a bachelor's degree in architecture. Supervises and guides the work of lower-level architects. In addition, Project Architect, Master requires a state architect's license. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Project Architect, Master works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
