Job Description

The Public Policy Analyst IV liaises with government entities (federal, state, provincial, or local) that regulate or influence business activities. Supports the implementation of strategic plans and engagement objectives to develop and maintain productive relations with all levels of government authorities to achieve business goals. Being a Public Policy Analyst IV monitors and analyses proposed legislation, emerging issues, and trends and prepare reports and informational documents to inform and support business leaders. Collaborates with industry groups and organizations with complementary objectives to achieve objectives. In addition, Public Policy Analyst IV requires a bachelor's degree in public policy, public administration, business or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Public Policy Analyst IV works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
