The QA/Validation Engineering Manager, Senior contributes to the development of quality standards and protocols for quality assurance testing models. Manages inspections of raw materials, equipment, processes, and finished products. Being a QA/Validation Engineering Manager, Senior ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Assists in the design and implementation of policies and procedures for testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or equipment. In addition, QA/Validation Engineering Manager, Senior acts as advisor to quality assurance engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The QA/Validation Engineering Manager, Senior typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Working as a QA/Validation Engineering Manager, Senior typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
