Describes and illustrates observations and conclusions in mathematical terms. In addition, Specialist Physicist conducts instrumental analyses to determine physical properties of materials. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Specialist Physicist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent.
