Job Description
The Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) Scan produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures. Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and answers patient questions. Being a Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) Scan requires a high school diploma. Performs obstetric and gynecological scans, ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, and radiation therapy localization. In addition, Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) Scan requires completion of radiologic technology training and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) Scan's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.
