The Telecommunications Network Engineer II analyzes existing networks and equipment and identifies opportunities for improvement. Designs, develops, implements, maintains, and enhances telecommunication networks, systems and equipment. Being a Telecommunications Network Engineer II may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Develops solutions that meet business requirements. In addition, Telecommunications Network Engineer II relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Working as a Telecommunications Network Engineer II typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
