Being an Applications Programming Senior Manager reviews development proposals, projects, timelines, resources, and costs. Leads feedback processes for peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews. Additionally, Applications Programming Senior Manager establishes a performance culture by incorporating individual and team coaching and mentoring to achieve excellence. May manage outsourcing budgets, vendors, or off-shore resources. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Applications Programming Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity.
