Cyber Incident Response Specialist II analyzes, reports, and responds to detected cyber incidents. Maintains system cybersecurity monitoring operations. Being a Cyber Incident Response Specialist II uses cybersecurity tools to proactively search for threats to systems or networks. Conducts network defense analysis and provides recommendations for improvements. Additionally, Cyber Incident Response Specialist II develops and maintains thorough, up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats and incident response best practices. Collaborates with peers and stakeholders to establish and ensure consistent response practices and prioritization of security events. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
