Being an Electrician II uses a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. Has at least two years of journeyman level electrical experience. Additionally, Electrician II typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. Typically requires an Electrician's license from the state. The Electrician II has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. To be an Electrician II typically requires 3-5 years of related experience, or may have 2 years experience plus an associates degree, or additional training or certification.
