10Pearls is seeking a Technical Lead to join our growing team. You will be partnering with business and technology teams to deliver sustainable engineering solutions to our clients. The following will also be a part of your responsibilities:
Manage complex programs from a technical solutioning and engineering standpoint
Ability to engage with customers during the sales process to understand project needs and promote best practices, review technical strategy, make recommendations based on those needs; and communicate with prospects effectively via phone, email and through presentations.
Identify insightful and logical corrective measures for complex deficiencies and forwards systemic proposals to leadership.
Provides advice to leadership on the design, development and enforcement of business/infrastructure application standards to include the associated controls, procedures and monitoring to ensure compliance.
Identifies technical risks to systems and works toward identifying and implementing mitigations to those risks.
Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems through “out of the box” thinking and technology expertise
Be accountable for the development of effective software and hardware systems that meets complex client requirements
Ensure alignment of the team’s products and services with technology and architecture strategy
Provide technical knowledge and insight to peers and colleagues
Ensure that the Team’s technical product documentation is always complete, accurate and coherent
Work with other technical leaders in the broader organization to define, document and distribute best practice and standards
Define, lead and encourage continuous improvement of the Team’s delivery and development processes
Work with project and product leads to design software and hardware solutions that create implementable specifications and tasks at product and roadmap level
Learn new technologies and keep abreast of existing technologies and help introduce them where appropriate
Able to think and operate on both the strategic and tactical levels (e.g. able to devise a short-term solution that complements the longer-term goals)
Strong written and verbal communications skills, especially when presenting technical topics to a non-technical audience
Work and collaborate in an Agile Team
Qualifications:
8-10+ years related experience
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Proven familiarity/expertise with requirements, design, development, testing, and operations of complex systems.
Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure, analytical and critical thinking skills, and multi-tasking ability.
Experienced in resource management and team building
Experience with Agile principals
Strong understanding of how implement "best practices" for software and system development
