The Service Manager is responsible for managing production within the Purchasing & Contractor Services team as it relates to the resolution of service deliverables throughout the claims process. This role is instrumental in forecasting, planning and executing production plans and ensuring compliance with business needs and production guidelines. Workload/line balancing of the various responsibilities of the team to maximize efficiency is critical to the success of the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This person manages a multi-functional team composed of supervisory and individual contributor level employees. The teams are engaged in task and phone-oriented work.

Must have solid experience in the use of Business Intelligence (BI) resources. Must have the ability to use Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel at the intermediate experience level including pivot tables, complex formulas and modeling.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical and statistical concepts such as fractions, % change, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
