Who are we looking for?

75F is seeking a Lead Systems Analyst to help lead and mentor a growing team of software engineers, quality engineers, and other system analysts. The 75F technology stack is comprised of hardware, firmware, mobile (i.e., Android), web UI (i.e., Angular), NodeJS and Java services, Azure CosmosDB, InfluxDB (i.e., time scaled database), machine learning, and big data analytics. This role will be focused on the software portion of the stack, excluding the hardware portion of the stack, but will need to gain a detailed understanding of their function. A successful candidate will have a quality-first approach to translating business requirements into elegant solutions in accordance with sound technical design, evolve the existing platform forward, document requirements clearly and concisely, adapt quickly to change, be able to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders alike, and be able to champion efficient agile processes, delivery, and DevOps while mentoring others to do the same.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years documenting well-written user stories and defects working in an agile software delivery environment at scale
  • 5+ years technical analysis translation for modern service-oriented software application stacks
  • 5+ years working in-depth with either SQL or NoSQL persistence layer databases, including designing well-structured data or object models and writing performant queries
  • 5+ years creation complex business processes in process flow diagrams and system activity diagrams
  • 5+ years designing complex solution architectures in resilient and high-scalability environments
  • 5+ years implementing or contributing to optimization of modern agile delivery processes (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
  • 3+ years creating screen mockups or working with UX application designers
  • 3+ years in a technical mentorship role as a team lead or relevant experience

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related technical discipline

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to lead solution architecture design of the overall 75F product suite
  • Help facilitate product delivery in a cross-functional team of software engineers, quality engineers, and systems analysts in DevOps delivery of a commercial software platform
  • Work with business stakeholders and software engineers to translate business requirements into efficient object or data models for persistence of business data
  • Lead story definition, evaluation, translation, and business requirements gathering from product owners and business stakeholders
  • Create process flows, sequence diagrams, high-level designs, as well as other documents and artifacts as required to efficiently document business requirements for implementation
  • Assist UX designers with mocking up user interfaces for implementation
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to assist in prioritization of product backlog
  • Coordinate efficient and effective agile delivery processes and contribute to operational enhancements
  • Provide input into feature, user story, and defect definition templates to improve team efficiency
  • Coordinate troubleshooting and resolution of issues
  • Collaborate with delivery team and business stakeholders to design robust and reusable solutions, as well as facilitate the translation to technical designs
  • Estimate delivery effort, as well as effectively identify and prioritize high-value deliverables
  • Communicate effectively with peers and subordinates to drive efficient team delivery
  • Collaborate in continuous planning with business stakeholders and other technology team leaders to ensure a successful delivery plan is available for business priorities
  • Promote a mindset and culture within the team that embraces identifying, owning, and solving issues, driving quality, improving performance, and improving the customer experience
