At E78 Partners, we provide outsourced finance and accounting solutions to rapidly growing businesses. We are currently seeking an Accounting Associate to join our Finance-as-a-Service (FaaS) team. Working with our clients, you will be primarily responsible for a multitude of accounting activities, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and assisting with the daily accounting needs.

Responsibilities

• Overall day-to-day management of financial reporting accuracy and on-time processing of client information
• Bank and other balance sheet reconciliations
• Payroll Management
• Payroll reconciliations
• Review and approve account classifications
• Bookkeeping
• Review G/L for any missing transactions and overall accuracy
• Preparation of Management Reporting Package each month
• Bank Reconciliation
• Accounts Receivables
• Accounts Payables

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in accounting or finance
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Experience in Professional or Managed Services desired
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ability to research, analyze, and retrieve data necessary to complete duties
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Used to working under tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with multiple systems of record, especially general ledger systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Sage Intacct, Bill.com and Expensify experience desired
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundaments.
• Experience working in a small to medium size business
