The AARP New Hampshire Office is looking for an Outreach Intern to join our busy office. This is a paid internship with a target start date of May, 2020 and possible duration through December, 2020.



The intern will help to organize and manage outreach and engagement at community events, and  around our voter engagement work, particularly with outreach and logistics for candidate forums and voter education programming held in community. If time permits, the intern will also assist us with work around our Livable Communities and Age Friendly initiatives around the state - which may require occassional travel.



Prospective intern must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university; and be considered rising undergraduate juniors or seniors, graduate students, or post doctorate students.

AARP also considers non-traditional interns who are looking to re-enter the workforce or change careers.  This may include those who have previously graduated college and are now enrolled in a continuing education program.

Additional requirements:

The intern will need to be computer / tech. savvy, comfortable with social media, public speaking, volunteer engagement and facile with Excel and spreadsheet preparation.
