We have an opportunity for a dynamic Unit Coordinator to join our team of compassionate caregivers.

As a Unit Coordinator you will:

• Admitting and discharging clerical work.
• Notifies nurses and appropriate departments of new orders, enters orders as requested.
• Assist with patient order entry, MAR/TAR checks, audits, etc.
• Maintains records of hospitalization, patient travel, to facilitate coordination of patient scheduling, ancillary testing, and preparation of paperwork for physician visit.

Qualifications for a Unit Coordinator:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficiency in computer software, especially Microsoft Office products
• Current CNA license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Medical Assistant Certification (preferred)
