Job Description:

3+ years’ relevant work experience

High school diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study preferred

• Ability to maintain current knowledge of systems functionality and business processes
• Presentation skills to various size and levels of audiences
• Ability to manage individual business unit workload and multiple training projects
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written (including punctuation, spelling, and grammar)
• Detail oriented to prepare, plan, coordinate and manage training development and delivery Analytical

• Inventory management
• Buying Communication - effective listening, speaking, and writing
• Computer Systems - Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, Oracle, SAS, JDA Space Planning

Regular attendance required

• Assist the buying organization in achieving sales, profit and inventory related objectives through efficient planning and analysis
• Partner with all business stakeholders, including training to ensure materials are current with system enhancements and business processes
• Effectively facilitate training and manage the learning experience, gauge learners' application and retention of course concepts and react appropriately
• Conduct teach backs sessions and incorporate feedback to successfully execute training sessions and ensure an optimal learning experience
• Receive feedback and respond appropriately, make necessary changes to ensure an optimal learning experience
• Ensure consistent, accurate planning and analysis procedures are utilized throughout the financial and assortment planning process
• Guide system enhancements and implementations relating to financial and assortment planning and analysis
• Assist in planning processes, including maintaining documentation and training content
• Assist planners to create financial plans
• Manage OTB
• Maintain knowledge of SAS Planning system, including Admin functions
• Mentors and trains assigned planners
• Observe industry trends in an effort to apply best-in-class practices to Academy
• Coordinate the creation of ad hoc reports and analysis as requested
• Attend planning conferences and vendor meetings as requested
• Required to learn company policies, procedures and safety rules
