Job Description:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or relevant field of study preferred
Work Experiences
- 2+ years of work experience within the field of Omnichannel or buying verticals
Skills:
- Capable of evaluating, testing, modifying, and managing a best in class, intuitive, and comprehensive navigation structure to deliver a great customer experience while searching and navigating Academy.com
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and external
- Analytical, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to analyze, organize and integrate large amounts of complex information into clear, concise presentations

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the approach to grow drop ship sales via expanded vendor base or sku proliferation with buying and category management teams
- Partner with DMM, buying groups, and category merchandising to activate and maintain drop ship relationships for Omnichannel to achieve sales.
- Manage drop-ship merchandising margin and gross profit goals
- Drive the development of system and process enhancements, special features and general functionality to support the DSV program
- Collaborate with Buying and Omnichannel teams on strategy to grow drop ship sales and vendor base
- Oversee schedule for category and/or vendor rollout in collaboration with category management team and Omnichannel merchandising
- Develop an efficient on-boarding workflow
- Create and deliver quarterly drop ship reviews of successes, opportunity and go forward plan to activate additional vendors, discuss opportunities, and further leverage momentum
- Enhance current on-line assortment through category optimization, and partner with Omnichannel Merchandising team and Category Management team to develop new businesses and product offerings through drop ship
- Partner with major external vendors to develop and deliver a great customer experience and ensure the brands are well positioned to deliver against customer and brand expectations
- Point of contact for all divisionally aligned drop ship vendors specific to expanded and drop ship assortments
- Partner with internal business units including but not limited to contact center, Omnichannel category management, merchants, vendor relations and logistics
- Generate and distribute weekly inventory and ship date analysis reports
- Develop a thorough understanding of Academy’s policies, procedures and safety rules
- Duties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned
