Job Description:

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain, Marketing, or relevant field of study preferred

Work Experiences:

• 3+ years of eCommerce and Retail experience is preferred
• IT project experience (Business Analysis, Project Management, Testing) is preferred

Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internally and externally
• Ability to understand the core needs of the Omnichannel business and translate needs into business and functional solution requirements
• Working understanding of business systems integration and the desire for continued learning
• Naturally curious with a willingness to ask clarifying questions in order to enhance understanding
• Strong planning, organization, prioritization, and time management skills
• Working understanding of waterfall project planning, key phases, and deliverables
• Analytical with strong problem solving abilities and creative resolution skills
• Ability to work well independently, as well as to effectively contribute to a team environment
• Ability to work well under pressure and drive critical initiatives across the finish line
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications and strong Excel capabilities are preferred
• Experience with IBM Sterling Order Management (OMS) is a plus
• Working understanding of relational databases and/or experience with SQL/DB2 is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Support new Fulfillment capabilities through direct involvement technology projects: including driving requirements, supporting testing efforts, and coordinating across business teams
• Engage and collaborate with the Enterprise Project Management Office to align Omnichannel projects and programs to ensure successful implementation
• Represent Omnichannel Fulfillment in collaboration with cross-functional project teams
• Own change management and business process development for new Fulfillment capabilities
• As needed, create documentation and reference materials to help educate business teams on any new functionality being introduced
• Assist in the establishment and tracking of key Fulfillment and customer KPIs to measure benefits of project initiatives once completed
• Support and / or lead key business initiatives throughout the organization, outside of IT projects (e.g. operational touch bases, Holiday planning meetings, business process changes)
• Maintain and contribute to issues and opportunities list, identifying items to be resolved or developed in the future for the benefit of the Omnichannel team and Academy’s customers
• Understand key Academy.com systems at both the context and functional levels, and leverage this understanding to triage issues and identify opportunities for operational improvement
• Understand the way Omnichannel fits into Academy’s multi-channel strategy
• Develop a thorough understanding of Academy’s policies, procedures and safety rules
• Duties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned
