ACCELA Proposal Specialist Salary in the United States

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Proposal Specialist will be a key contributing member of Accela’s RFP team. In this role, you will support the Request for Proposal team and help advance the sales process. This position will work closely and collaborate with departments across the company to maintain proposal content and create accurate, compelling proposals.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contributes to the development of compelling, professional, and customized proposals in response to SaaS/Security Questionnaires, Request for Information and Request for Proposals
• Works with subject matter experts to keep proposal content current and compelling
• Ensures timely completion of projects
• Possess complete knowledge of company, product, and industry
• Manage agency/procurement portal registrations
• Manage public records requests
• Review and edit peer proposals
• Develop and/or write proposal content when needed
• Lead delegated improvement projects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Excellent writing, grammar, and spelling skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Solid experience coordinating requirements and responses with key contributors and subject matter experts, setting up meetings where appropriate, and assigning accountability and ownership
• Good communication skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years of proposal management experience
• Upland Qvidian software experience
• Knowledge of local/state government business processes
