Description
• Responsible for accounts payable process which includes coding invoices and expenses for review
• Process expense reports for employees and ensure accurate coding in systems
• Review and post approved invoices into accounting system
• Responsible for accounts receivable process which includes: creation of invoices and statements, depositing checks, entering all credit card payments and updating outstanding log
• Collect on outstanding A/R over 90 days
• Process and review daily deposits
• Proactively interact with key management to resolve problems related to AP, AR, and billing.
• Manage and administer accounts payable and accounts receivable for the firm, including incoming check deposits, outgoing collection calls, and AP coding.
• Generate data reports requested by management and staff.
Requirements
• 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or accounting preferred.
• Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and solid communication and organizational skills.
• Outstanding computer skills with experience using accounting software.
• Outstanding Excel skills with the motivation to learn new technology.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects - exceptional time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to complete tasks from start to finish while experiencing multiple distractions.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
