AZZ INC General Manager Salary in the United States

AZZ Bus Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of AZZ Inc. located near Jackson, Mississippi. Our custom-built, medium voltage power distribution systems are found in power plants and large industrial facilities across the U.S.A., and around the world. We've been an industry leader for over 60 years. We have a great opportunity for an experienced General Manager to join our team.  

• Drive operational strategies and vision including continuous improvement culture, growth, employee development, safety, and accountability
• Manage all business unit functions (manufacturing, engineering, materials, quality assurance, finance, marketing, sales, etc.)
• Develop annual business and sales and marketing plan to facilitate growth; develop forecasting models for monthly, annual, and 3-year horizons
• Review operating results on an ongoing basis and implement measures to improve the same
• Continue advancing positive trends in zero injury safety, cost and warranty reductions, and on-time delivery by using self-directed work teams
• Work with all internal departments to optimize value streams and mistake-proofing
• Serve as the direct or indirect report for 60 business unit team members

• At least 10 years of business unit leadership experience, preferably in a progressive manufacturing (or similar) environment.
• Prior P & L responsibility
• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field (MBA preferred)
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Experience with engineered products (metal fabrication a plus).
• Strong technical ability and excellent organizational skills.
