Investment Portfolio Manager
As an Investment Portfolio Manager at Children’s Health, you will have a unique opportunity in a highly entrepreneurial role. We are in the early stages of building an internationally recognized investment office aligned with our mission to Make Life Better for Children. In this role, you will build up a sizeable investment portfolio and become a voting member of the internal investment committee, the leadership team of the Investment Office that approves investments across all asset classes.
You will have the opportunity to work with the Chief Investment Officer to identify needs in the portfolio and develop creative new investment ideas, themes, and strategies. The Portfolio Manager will analyze and synthesize data relating to general investment concepts, as well as performance and risk exposures of individual fund managers, asset classes and the overall portfolio.
In this role you will also lead special research projects including thematic research, risk management and portfolio reviews for the Children’s Health Investment Committee.
This is a full-time position providing the opportunity to gain a position of influence on a dynamic team.
Experience
Five years’ experience of related investment experience, including investment management, private equity, M&A or consulting, is required.
Three years’ experience at an endowment, foundation, family office, or comparable investment organization engaged in manager selection and/or capital allocation, is preferred, as is experience with private markets, including private equity, venture capital, distressed debt, private real estate, and private oil and gas.
Education
Four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience is preferred.
