The Danville State Hospital is looking for a reliable employee to oversee the operation of our warehouse in the storeroom department.

This position works under the direct supervision of the Facility Financial Manager and is responsible for the supervision of the Storeroom Department and operation of the Danville State Hospital warehouse.  Danville State Hospital is the oldest state psychiatric facility currently in operation in Pennsylvania.  Our facility takes great pride in being a part of the service continuum for individuals with psychiatric diagnoses.  Although we are a long-term psychiatric facility, many do not know that we have a number of admissions and discharges annually.  In 2019, Danville State Hospital had 69 admissions and 73 discharges.  We are proud that we can improve the lives of our consumers, allowing them to return to the community. 
 Qualifications:

• Must meet PA residency requirement – For more information on ways to meet PA residency requirements, follow the link and click on Residency
• Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:  Four years of experience in stores control work, including two years of supervisory experience or in charge of a storeroom with considerable volume and variety of commodities; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a standard high school or vocational school; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
