CONTEC Inventory Clerk Salary in the United States

Reports to: Operations Manager

Position Summary

• Inventory controls as described below for multi program support in the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives materials, stocks materials, and general supplies for system inventory records
• Issues materials from stock to support CRO (Cosmetics Repair Only) production, Modem and Quick Test builds. (physical and system)
• Obtains PODs to support system transactions
• Performs routine cycle counts against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
• Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Three months’ related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. 
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for a minimum of eight hours.
• The employee must frequently lift up to 50 pounds or move via rolling racks up to 200 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
