Statement of Purpose:
Performs coordinating and support activities for the EEG/EMG Lab and the MS Clinic including in patients and outpatient scheduling. Review dictated test results and file accordingly. Assists in insurance clearance for MS patients. Maintains inventory maintenance of office supplies and equipment. Assist EEG/EMG and MS staff with patient care, transport and transfers. May perform nerve conduction studies based on experience under the direct supervision of the EEG/EMG Lab Manager
Qualifications:
Education: Equivalent to 4 years of high school with knowledge of typing, transcription skills, filing, medical terminology.
Experience: Requires up to 1 year of experience as Medical secretary preferred and on the job training. Computer skills.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
