Job Summary

We currently have an opportunity for a Account Manager based out of Milwaukee or Chicago who will increase profitability and expand existing accounts by selling Fresenius Kabi Infusion Technology products, and extending relationships into new areas with new accounts. The territory covers WI, IL, MI, MO, IN, IA, OH and MN.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships at various levels with Hospital purchasing influencers and KOLs including: Nursing, Pharmacy, IT, Risk Management, Purchasing, Materials Management, Biomedical Technicians and C-Suite.
  • Actively provide value at all levels within the department; track and analyze progress.
  • Achievement of sales quotas or MBOs selling Fresenius Kabi’s infusion technology products; implement sales strategies to attain sales volume, and profit objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, prepare and execute effective sales strategies for competitive and revenue-driven growth opportunities.
  • Effectively utilize and maintain sales tools to manage territory and strategic business plans.
  • Provide leadership in market analysis and execution of strategies and action plans to drive Infusion Device sales.
  • Prioritize accounts to determine coverage, assesses opportunity, and develops new business.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly plans, tracks and analyzes progress and trends, prepare annual territory sales plan, manage budget and expenses
  • Maintain account/customer profiles and account plans for key accounts.
  • Conduct customer in-service training on infusion technology products.
  • Communicate marketing strategy through written, verbal, oral and electronic means.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of medical sales experience, including selling capital equipment in the healthcare Industry.
  • Clear understanding of complex and long sales cycles; hospital selling experience preferred.
  • Understanding of contracting involving multiple touch points, preferably within the Infusion Device/Technology space.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand clinical concepts, and tie to technical capabilities and value drivers of capital goods.
  • Ability to communicate value proposition of highly technical concepts to a clinical audience including C-Suite Executives, RNs, IT, Pharmacy, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, presentation and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated financial and business acumen and desire to excel /meet aggressive goals.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
  • Proven leader in a complex matrixed work environment.
  • Strong computer skills, CRM experience (such as SFDC) desired.
  • Experience with in-service training in a Medical environment.
  • 50% - 70% travel – air/auto/ Company leased car provided
