Description
Golden Aluminum, located north of Denver, owner of a patented casting process that offers a broad range of alloys, any thickness, any coating and any color aluminum, has an opening for a Maintenance Planner. The primary function of the Maintenance Planner is to act as liaison between Operations and Maintenance.
• Will improve outage efficiency and quality by reducing work delays due to waiting for parts and/or information.
• Support the maintenance group to comply with Lean Manufacturing objectives
• Perform administrative duties in the companies Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• They will plan, schedule and organize maintenance work including prepare drawings and manuals needed for each outage job.
• Maintenance Planners is responsible developing and coordinating short-range and long-range outages.
• They will prepare maintenance outage packages for planned maintenance activities. This will include ordering and receiving parts required for each outage function.
• He/she will serve as the central source of information concerning maintenance work during outages.
• Planner/Scheduler will determine man-hours and job time frame for outage pre-planning. These KPI’s will be adjusted and documented for historical and post outage reviews.
