Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Act as Project Manager for two to four software development project teams, focused on helping the teams perform at their highest levels
• Lead project teams, develop plans and timelines, monitor progress.
• Facilitate meetings, follow up as needed, direct and coordinate activities.
• Regularly communicate expectations, next steps, achievements, and issues.
• Maintains understanding of professional best practices for Project Management. Applies appropriate best practices in management of projects.
• Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal.
• Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are progressing.
• Liaise between the development teams and product management. Foster better communication between the disciplines.
• Keep the rest of the company network aware of the team’s activities.
• Identify and communicate risks to targeted delivery dates.
• Be a subject matter expert in work item tracking and project tracking software.
• Work within the PMO to optimize processes.
