Position Overview: 

The Digital Agency Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of remote producers, while also producing new business themselves. This is a “player/coach” role.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position will work closely with Sales leadership and other key internal stakeholders to ensure success. This role is based in our Chicago headquarters, but has remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Help producers write more business while writing new business themselves
• Ensure sales team is achieving leading and lagging indicators in order to exceed overall premium goal and budget
• Maintain operational discipline necessary to achieve new business (revenue/unit ) goals while operating in a team first culture that focuses on accountability, professionalism and best in class customer experience
• Monitor sales KPIs against budgets and targets
• Create and monitor sales budget for team in conjunction with the Director of Sales
• Coach & develop producers on a consistent basis
• Provide ongoing feedback on improving the Sales Playbook
• Participate in recruiting events & the hiring process for producers
• Participate in Digital Agency strategy sessions

Experiences, Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree needed
• Prior sales experience as an insurance producer needed. Prior management experience preferred
• P&C license needed
• History of success in prior roles
• Comfort level with working and managing remotely
