K1 Consultant Manager Salary in the United States

Position Summary:

K1 is seeking an Operations Manager for our office located in Manhattan Beach, CA. K1 Operations team provides the expertise, network, and resources to help build category leaders. You will be an integral member of a team of operational experts dedicated to working with executives to enable high performance and agility through their organization. You will have a chance to leverage your skills and expertise to create measurable, improved outcomes for our portfolio companies in transformative situations. This represents a unique opportunity to work hand-in-hand with the investment team and key executives at our portfolio companies to drive operational excellence.  

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategic and operational initiatives across all functional areas of our companies – Human Capital, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Product and Strategy
• Interact directly with key portfolio executives
• Conduct analysis and synthesize insights to complex problems in K1 portfolio companies using various methods, techniques and tools
• Manage a team of Operational Consultants
• Implement and document business processes and best practices across the K1 portfolio 

Preferred Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in a financial or consulting firm
• Leadership management experience
• Held role of Chief of Staff and/or helped manage M&A integrations 
• High energy style, flexible and adaptive, works well in a fast-paced environment 
• Articulately communicates information and adapts effectively to the audience
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and / or financial data management 
• Experience working on complex projects within tight timelines 
• Interest in software, technology, and data enabled companies
• Ability to foster teamwork while working on projects
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
• An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, pre-law, engineering, business, or management information systems with a strong GPA from a 4-year accredited university
