Responsibilities

The Marketing/Creative Services Producer ensures that the brand vision comes to life creatively and effectively to meet business objectives and advance brand awareness. This role is responsible for executing brand photo and video content for print and digital needs across all channels and platforms. The Producer works closely with the Creative Services team to receive direction for content creation and presents locations, models, and crew as well as maintaining the production calendar and budget.

 

Duties:

  • Manage production logistics of all editorial photo and video content (approximately 2-3 a month) within budget and timeline
  • Lead meetings and create agendas to align creative, marketing, merchant, and styling teams based on production deadlines and sample availability
  • Update editorial shoot calendar and additional photo requests from other departments as needed
  • Understand and translate brand/customer profile and content creative direction in order to recommend talent, then execute castings and work with creative, marketing, styling, and design teams on securing approvals
  • Build and maintain relationships with outside agencies for purposes of sourcing talent and crew
  • Negotiate competitive rates based on usage needs and confirm bookings for photographers, models, hair stylists, make-up artists, wardrobe stylists and tailors, prop stylists, set designers, catering, and studios/locations, securing permits as needed
  • Scout locations, pull samples and production supplies, arrange for fittings, and develop shot lists in advance of shoot
  • Cross-functionally partner with Styling, Merchandising, Design, Marketing and Ecomm to ensure photoshoots capture the channel specific content while ensuring business stakeholder needs are met
  • Liaise with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure business decisions are executed and best capture compelling product on shoot day
  • Partner with creative counterparts to effectively plan and execute the creative vision behind each shoot
  • Manage production budgets.
  • Coordinate all vendor payment processing and submit invoices and expense reports

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years’ experience planning and producing all aspects of both in studio and on location shoots, securing vendors and talent, managing budgets, and coordinating vendor payments
  • Has existing relationships with various talent agencies, studios, production companies and vendors
  • Proven negotiation skills with ability to negotiate usage rights at competitive rates
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Proactive approach and ability to manage multiple projects at once, working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Highly motivated team player with ability to remain calm under pressure, deal with/manage varying personalities, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills
