What does an Contractor Success Manager do at companies like MICROF?

PURPOSE:    To train, support, grow and retain the assigned contractor base across all products.  The role will ensure that every active contractor will understand all product choices, how to effectively use the application platform, and successfully navigate the loan and lease processes to quickly take care of the customer and secure contractor funding.  By excelling in these areas, the Contractor Success Manager (CSM) will grow the base of contractors through the retention of existing contractors and supporting new contractor additions.  The CSM will also deepen the contractor relationships through more loans and leases per contractor due to the ease of use of the platform and the education around the end-to-end processes.  The CSM will work closely with the outside sales, originations and back-end operational areas to ensure a very positive contractor experience in all interactions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Deliver exceptional contractor and customer service
  • Ensure all assigned new and existing contractors are fully trained on all products features and benefits and the following processes - application, contractor portal, customer loan/lease documentation and contractor funding (salespersons, office managers and owners where applicable)
  • Deliver outbound calling campaigns of Microf products across the entire assigned portfolio and ensure successful transition from sales conversation to utilization of the product(s)
  • Follow up real-time on all applications of new users (new and existing contractors) to ensure successful use of each product
  • Work closely in a team environment with outside sales, originations and operations to effectively close deals and deliver exceptional customer and contractor satisfaction
  • Become certified on origination process and all relevant systems that support customers and contractors with the ability to process a deal in any part of the sales and origination process
  • Grow assigned contractor base/territory through retaining existing contractors and successfully on-boarding new contractors
  • Deepen deal/contractor rate through effective service and selling efforts
  • Successfully follow the role “playbook” daily (to be provided)
  • Manage, train, and retain a portfolio of contractors in a given territory
  • Use independent judgment and discretion on contractor selection and retention
  • Travel to contractor locations and trade shows
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two (2) years contractor business development or inside sales experience and a history of exceeding plan
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • HVAC industry experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and contractor/customer service skills
  • Professional approach to sales
  • Proven time management and organization skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions based on limited information
  • Ability to multitask using multiple systems (e.g., CRM, origination systems)
  • Good computer skills

 

COMISSION PLAN                             

  • Quarterly bonus potential for a driven client manager professional

 

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

  • Eligible for participation in the Company’s Group Medical Plan and Group Supplemental Insurance Plan on the 1st day of the month following the completion of the Employee’s first 60 days of service.
  • Six (6) paid holidays per year.
  • Twenty (20) days paid time off annually after 90 days of employment – prorated based on the date hired.
  • Eligible for immediate participation in other Company benefits programs not currently offered.
  • Eligible for 401(k) after one year of service.

 

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Ability to handle contractor requests outside of normal business hours as needed in at a reasonable level
  • Potential for some evening and weekend hours in busy seasons
  • Travel Requirement - Depending on the accounts that each sales manager owns, they may be asked to travel to Top Tiered account for Quarterly/Semi-Annual or Annual Account review
