Summary:
Responsible for the division’s overall operation, including personnel and relationship management, financial management, and clinical care delivery. Maintains a high level of competence related to People Acumen, Business Acumen and Clinical/Technical/Functional Acumen. Collaborates with providers, residents, and staff to facilitate the provision of a remarkable patient, provider, resident, and staff experience. Demonstrates strong alignment to the organization’s mission, vision, values, and promise. Collaborates with providers, staff, and organizational leaders to operationalize strategic priorities inclusive of the organization’s values and people philosophy. Responsibilities:
1. Serves as a liaison internally and externally, to implement and maintain a comprehensive ambulatory strategy for assigned practices at NHRMC Physician Group and its surrounding communities. 2. Collaborates and manages relationships with the Practice providers, Graduate Medical Education leadership, administrative leadership, referring providers and the community. 3. Serves as the dyad leader for the resident clinic experience with the appropriate residency program director. 4. Provides direction and leadership to the on-site practice managers. 5. The Administrator maintains clinical, regulatory, and financial expertise; jointly developing strategies with physician leadership to advance care and lead the structured plan to deliver quality and cost-effective care. 6. Utilizes data to develop and present recommendations to stake holders to develop new programs and improve services resulting in better outcomes, increased market share and profitability. 7. Accountability includes capital, physician production and operational budget preparation and maintenance, human resource management, performance improvement, quality management, patient relations, and community outreach. 8. Provides oversight and direction on the allocation and distribution of resources based upon service offering, patient access, acuity, and visits. 9. Accountable for leading practice performance using all system tools available. 10. Collaborates with Human Resources in developing practice specific strategies that promote recruitment, retention, and recognition. 11. Utilizes organizational resources to develop and implement the practice’s educational plan and facilitate the development of staff. 12. Assures that organizational tools used to drive regulatory, reimbursement, risk and safety compliance are consistently used in all practices. 13. Oversees the contract process for the practices, assuring that all documents meet regulatory and organizational requirements. 14. Collaborates with Marketing and the Physician Group leaders to develop appropriate practice materials that foster desired growth of the practices and communication with the community. 15. Provides oversight for the practices’ policies and procedures assuring that the documents are appropriate and maintained in accordance with organizational expectations. 16. Maintains professional associations with peers on a local, state, and national level. |

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred. Licensure / Certifications: Licensed/certification required if applicable. American Heart Association BLS certification required if applicable. Experience: 5 years of leadership experience which includes 3 years of practice management experience in an academic setting required. Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence. Performs other duties as assigned. Individual will possess commensurate combination of education, experience and qualifications. |
