Overview

Nscglobal ‘s Project Management function is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, right quality within budget to a satisfied client.

It is the role of the Project Manager to lead a single large standard project, or numbers of smaller standard projects and to take responsibility for the achievement of the agreed goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Professional capability in project management is displayed when the leader of the project delivers the results required by all stakeholders. This requires managing the many variables that occur, during the life of the project. The projects that a Project Manager is responsible for are likely to be standard or sub-projects of large complex projects. The following responsibilities show the breadth of issues the Project Manager needs to manage.

Specific deliverables:

• An end to end project view of all milestones and tasks and dependencies;
• Work within the Governance structure to deliver
• Manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies between projects and capability deliveries;
• Some of the work with the Agile teams to link task and epics to achieve milestones;
• Key reporting for stakeholders
• Manage Supplier to deliver
• Create and manage a comprehensive project plan and governance.

Essential Experience & Knowledge

• 3-4 years’ experience in project management or project environment 
• At least 3-4 years network engineering experience
• ITIL Foundation Certification a plus
• High performer, self-motivator, and team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Flexible, dependable with strong negotiation skills and ability to multi-task under constrained timelines
• A networking background is essential and working on projects including WANs and LANs
• Preferred skills include CCNA with project skills
