Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and metric driven event manager to coordinate industry-leading events for over 2000 prospective and current customers as well as internal corporate events for OSIsoft. Working with marketing teams and third party conference groups, the role will require end-to-end planning and execution throughout the year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the Global Events Team with the following:  PI World SF, PI World EMEA, Sales/Engineering Kick Off, Ambassador Workshop, HQ office events (Holiday Party, Summer Picnic), other corporate meetings and regional events.
• Organize, plan, execute and manage events, event registration and reporting systems to improve the customer experience, increase the value of data collected and streamline reporting.  
• Provide strategic planning and execution on all events, in alignment with the marketing strategy. 
• Assist team members with developing event strategy and measurable objectives.        
• Assist in the management of both internal and external resources to ensure successful event production and execution.         
• Assist in the management of all aspects of event coordination including, but not limited to, budget creation, contract negotiation, site selection, coordination of attendee & speaker registration, agenda scheduling, audio/visual set-up, communications & IT needs, food & beverage selection, invitation process, staffing, on-site set-up and logistics.             
• Develop and distribute pre and post-event summaries and recaps including budget and lead/ROI analysis as well as qualitative feedback to evaluate program/event success. 
• Assist in the development and management of budgets, working closely through event development and execution to manage cost control. Submit contracts, purchase orders, invoices and budget updates and reports as needed.           
• Interface with numerous external vendors including suppliers, event venues, staffing agency, audio/visual companies, and exhibit contractors.             
• Be present at all in-house and major offsite events        .

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years’ experience in event coordination required
• Familiar with Swoogo or other Registration Management System, Excel and PowerPoint
• Marketo and/or Salesforce is a plus
• Must be organized, able to work independently as well as collaborate with a team and able to plan and manage timelines
• Must have excellent customer interaction and strong verbal/written communication skills
• Must have the ability to review, understand and write summaries of basic contracts and present data to various levels within an organization
