Who We’re Hiring:

The Head of Product at Ride Health is the senior-most product person at the organization. As such, this role is responsible for the product team, the processes, and getting things done, as well as the product vision, product architecture, and overall organizational alignment. 

We’re looking for someone who will mentor and develop our distributed team of talented product managers, someone with a proven track record of leading a team to deliver exceptional outcomes. The ideal candidate is confident in coaching product managers to navigate complexity, nuances and intricacy involved in developing products from ideation to deployment through an empathetic approach. They instill confidence, ownership, and autonomy that empowers the product team to perform at an elite level while ruthlessly protecting the time, energy and bandwidth for the team to work on the most impactful initiatives. They will bring expertise, frameworks and insights that elevate the product team’s knowledge to build elegant solutions that achieve outcomes. 

The ideal candidate will be a systems thinker and gifted communicator, a true leader who can effectively communicate our vision and inspire trust and confidence, someone who will bring a well-balanced approach to product development and design by having a solid understanding of strategy, business and healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to transform vision into reality. Ideally, they are experienced in scaling product and product teams in rapid growth environments. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own product vision, strategy, execution, and outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor a distributed team of product managers. You will be responsible for their success and professional development, helping them become product leaders.
  • Design, operationalize and scale an outcomes-focused, data-driven product development process.
  • External visibility and ambassadorship, including building and managing relationships with our internal Ride Health API partners, third-party API partners, clients, and transportation providers.
  • Cross-functional team collaboration on goals and initiatives.
