We are looking for a motivated, energetic team member to join our Purchasing department.

Purpose of the position: This position will support procurement of materials at our headquarters location. The Buyer at this location will have the responsibility for vendor relationships along with daily customer and supplier contacts.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Place Purchase orders as suggested by our ERP
• Obtain Price and Availability
• Review and Manage inventory levels
• Manage vendor relationships
• Build customer and supplier contacts
• Manage all issues associated with the assigned buy lines
• Monitor and achieve KPI’s associated with the assigned buy lines

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Works Knowledge, specially Excel and Word 
• Proven Organization Skills
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• A Positive Attitude
• A Great Work Ethic
• A willingness to learn supply chain logistics.
• This position may lead to other leadership roles and career opportunities within the company.

Education and Experience:

• 1 or more year in purchasing, buying or related position
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in Plumbing, Heating, HVAC environment preferred, but not required
• Experience with Epicor Eclipse or Solar Eclipse preferred, but not required
