For a Physical Therapist, in the US, a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required as well as successfully completing a state licensure examination. A typical education path is to complete a Bachelor's degree in majors like Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or Exercise Physiology and then 3 additional years in a graduate program as a DPT student.
