Summary: Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in the assigned unit, performs multiple clerical duties related to maintenance of records, processing physician orders, supply utilization and maintaining stock for the unit. Is available at the nursing station to answer the phone, take messages and visually overseeing the telemetry and monitored patients= waveforms (when in ICU) and alerting the Registered Nurse of any abnormality.
