Description Translates a variety of district communications from English to Spanish and occasionally Spanish to English, for various audiences under tight deadlines Translates emergency documents, including letters and other urgent communications Proofreads and edits to provide the best and most accurate translations Interprets for parents/school personnel as needed at requested meetings, including community, district, special education Attends weekend, evening, and daytime meetings, including Board of Education meetings Travels to district campuses for bilingual personnel facilitation Maintains and provides reports of work completed Compiles database of terminology and information to be used in translations, including technical terms Receives and submits assignments electronically via email or Google Drive Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. equivalency) 60 college hours or bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 3 years
