The QE develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality assurance procedures, standards, and techniques for inspections and processing of manufactured products. The QE assists the Quality Manager with the implementation and management of the company quality assurance systems, guidelines and customer demands in accordance with AS9100/ AS13100 and ISO9001 standards in order to meet or exceed customer and company quality expectations in a safe environment. Job Summary The CAD Programmer takes customer generated geometry or drawings and saves them into the correct file format using CAD software. Utilizes nesting software to generate programs for CNC equipment. Troubleshoots specific applications as needed. This position reports to the Operations Manager. Job Responsibilities •Use CAD software and CNC manufacturer's programming software •Interpret third and first angle orthographic projection, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and customer drawings and specifications, using CAD software create engineering drawings •Coordinate all production and technical communications between customers, sales, and production •Import files created with CAD software into the nesting software and generate NC files for the CNC equipment.
