Perform complex set-ups on CNC mills and Lathes (up to 3, 4 & 5 axis), machines, and inspection equipment for production jobs in a responsive manner to support a production-paced environment. Shape parts to prescribed dimensions and finishes. Observe milling and Lathe machine operation and adjust programming to meet the specified tolerances. Set up independently new jobs and development jobs on (3, 4, and 5 axis machines) different manual machine types from start to finish, including selecting tools and programming that doesn’t require CAD/CAM. Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications. Identify issues and monitor processes, and troubleshoot concerns resulting in resolution.
