Job description The California Correctional Peace Officers' Association, the labor union representing California's Correctional Peace Officers, is accepting applications for a Communications-Copy Editor. This position is located in our West Sacramento, CA office. Job Summary: Under direction of the Chief Operations Officer, the Communications – Copywriter is responsible for planning, and coordinating, the California Correctional Peace Officers Association (CCPOA) publications, print media, and websites. In addition, the incumbent will work with the Mass Communications Specialist to coordinate internal communications with the staff and CCPOA membership. Essential Functions: Set and meet required editorial and production deadlines.
