Description Prepares, seasons, and cooks food items to be served at the various PCC dining areas and catered events. Key Responsibilities: Prepares, seasons, cooks and garnishes foods for all areas (BBQ, Gateway, Ambassador, Super Ambassador or the Pounders Restaurant. Coordinates guest counts and food breakouts for determining necessary food type quantities, and prepares usage and waste reports. Prepares cooking equipment for use; adjusts temperature controls. Coordinates activities of lower-level cooks preparing foods for cooking. Ensures that all cooking equipment and utensils are inspected and maintained. Cleans and sanitizes work area, equipment used and assigned storage areas. Requirements Have a basic knowledge of sanitation practices and OSHA rules and regulations that apply to food and beverage.
