Responsibilities: Responsible for regulatory requirement analysis, design, execution, and deployment of Global IT Solution in Serialization. Manage the internal and external serialized warehouse operations with Integration to Enterprise Systems. Provide oversight and direction of serialization processes to drive enterprise standardization across environments. Responsible for supporting the configuration, validation, and deployment of various serialization enterprise solutions to meet regulatory mandates. Drive compliance with the IT Quality processes and client's Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, including the IT change management and quality and testing process. Provide support and direction to project and program managers in overcoming hurdles and moving projects forward by proactively mitigating open issues and project risks. Maintain consistent communication channels between all vested parties: steering committee, business sponsors, IT stakeholders, and project teams.

Medical Coder reviews clinical documentation and diagnostic results as appropriate to extract data and apply appropriate ICD-CM/PCS and CPT codes for billing, internal and external reporting, research, and regulatory compliance. Under the direction of the HIM Manager or HIM Director, accurately code inpatient and/or outpatient (for example, diagnostic, therapeutic, emergency department services, ambulatory surgery (same day surgery), and observation service encounters) conditions and procedures as documented in the ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting. Medical Coder qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Successful completion of a coding course along with an RHIA, RHIT, or CCS, required. Excellent communication and computer skills. Two or more years on-the-job experience coding utilizing CPT and ICD-10 desired.
