Job Summary: Assist pharmacist in preparing prescriptions and medication orders. Process, prepare, scan, fill and label medication, make many nontechnical judgmental decisions, pre-pack medications for dispensing and maintain daily logs. Service and stock robotics and automated dispensing cabinets, reconstitute and compound oral medication, dispense medication to patients, mail medication, electronically requests refills from providers, return medications to stock, and call patients. Maintain clean and orderly workstations, equipment, and medication preparation areas. Greets patients and provides exceptional customer service in person, while answering the phone and in the drive-thru. May review electronic health records as appropriate for patient care.
